
Painting Flowers with Acrylics - May!
Service Description
Join me for a relaxing morning of painting! I’ll bring flowers for our inspiration. We'll work on acrylic painting techniques as well as mixing to create two mini floral paintings on canvas paper for each class. Throughout the class, we’ll focus on creating dimension and developing values to bring our flowers to life. Feel free to bring your own supplies or class packs available ($55) to make it easy so you can just show up 😊 I'll provide palette paper and glass jars for each student. Class packs include- Golden Paint Pack (yellow, red, ultramarine blue, permanent green light, black) 2 Simply Simmons flat brushes (#2 & #6) 9"x12" canvas pad Class will be geared for Beginner/Intermediate students but all levels are welcome. Space is limited to 8 students. Stacey Lowe Almgren has been an artist for as long as she can remember, refining her creative talents at Purdue University with a BA in Graphic Design and Illustration. For over 25 years, she has led Stacey Lowe Design, Inc., producing original artwork for clients such as Eli Lilly, the American College of Sports Medicine, and St. Vincent Children’s Hospital Foundation, and was recently selected for the Walmart Mural Program, creating murals nationwide. A lifelong traveler, she has exhibited her work across the U.S. and abroad—including Singapore and New Zealand—with a career highlight being the International Art Show in Singapore. As her practice evolved, Stacey embraced environmental and mural art and expanded into arts education, teaching drawing, watercolor, and acrylic painting at Bellevue College and other venues. Deeply engaged in the Pacific Northwest arts community, she continues to produce commissioned works, serve as art director at East Ridge School, and on the board of Woodinville Arts Alliance, helping launch the Woodinville Art Walks. Her public art portfolio includes environmental installations for the City of SeaTac, a mural along the Sammamish Trail for the City of Woodinville, utility wrap artwork for the City of Issaquah, and mural projects for Walmart in five states. Most recently, she was selected for the ArtsWA 2025–2029 Public Artist Roster, continuing a vibrant artistic journey fueled by curiosity, creativity, and a passion for connection through art.
